The Influence of the Use of Digital Technology in Arabic Language Learning in Higher Education

This study examines the suboptimal use of digital technology in Arabic language learning in higher education, despite its significant potential. The primary objective is to analyze the technology used, its effectiveness, user perceptions, and supporting and inhibiting factors for its implementation. The method used was a meta-analysis of the literature review with a systematic approach and strict inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were obtained from relevant previous studies and analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results indicate that the effectiveness of technology is highly dependent on the readiness of institutions and users, not simply on the availability of devices. These findings emphasize the importance of a holistic approach and supporting policies in optimizing the role of digital technology in Arabic language learning in higher education
