Focus and Scope
Qaul ‘Arabiy is a scientific journal that publishes research results and theoretical studies in the fields of Arabic Language Education, Arabic Language and Literature, Arabic Linguistics, and Arabic Philology and Manuscript Studies. This journal aims to be an academic forum for researchers, lecturers, teachers, and practitioners who are concerned with the development of comprehensive and multidisciplinary Arabic studies. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:
• Teaching and learning Arabic at various levels of education
• Innovation, strategies, methods, and media in Arabic language learning
• Arabic Language Education curriculum design
• Arabic Language Education Methodology
• Synchronic and diachronic studies of Arabic linguistics
• Analysis of the Arabic language from the perspective of structural, functional, and contemporary linguistics
• Studies of syntax (Nahwu), semantics (Dalalah), phonology (Ashwat), morphology (Sharf), and pragmatics in Arabic
• Studies of classical and modern Arabic literature, including poetry, prose, and literary criticism
• Arabic philology: study, textology, codicology, transliteration, manuscript studies, critical editions of texts, annotation of Arabic manuscripts, and conservation of Arabic manuscripts
• Studies of ancient manuscripts in the context of Islamic history, culture, and intellectualism
• Integration of technology in learning and preserving Arabic
• Interdisciplinary studies between Arabic and Arabic Arabic and social sciences, religion, and humanities
This journal is open to academic contributions from both within and outside the country, prioritising originality, scientificity, and contribution to the sustainable development of Arabic studies.
